The Drilling Academy

Equipe Training has established a unique facility which incorporates state of the art conference facilities with up to date plant and equipment for the practical experience.  This is the first dedicated national Drilling Academy established in the UK where both drilling and geotechnics can be brought to you.

The Drilling Academy provides the global benchmark for designing and delivering vocational training and continual assessment in drilling and geotechnics.  From its base, The Paddocks, it offers a unique blend of conference facilities together with specially selected areas for hands on sessions.

The conference facilities comprise two suites; a large suite which can comfortably accommodate up to 50 attendees; and a medium suite which accommodates around 30 attendees.  The suites have state of the art multi media connections and benefit from ceiling mounted LCD projectors, multi level screens and blackout blinds.  All rooms have independent access ensuring that courses will not be interrupted once commenced.  As with any modern renovation, disabled access facilities are also present.

The external areas provide a superb blend of spacious areas of concrete, hard standing and grassed fields which are both on flat and sloping ground.  This offers an on site facility to experience practical drilling activities in a wide variety of settings and also ideal display or demonstration areas for plant and equipment provided by our Partners.
